the engine light came back on. I was promised by Mike that if I spent the money our 2005 330ci would right great for at least another 100,000 miles. So we took out some money from our 401k after Mike tried to get us to apply for financing on his website, and two weeks later the check engine light came back on. Took it back in and they Mike reset it and said the fuel mixture may be off and to drive it around and bring it back in which we did. He checked it again and he said it was good. Then a couple of days later the engine light came back on. Took it back in and they now wat $1,200 to replace the air mass meter, hoses to leaking power steering, and a few others.

Problem is that when they did the first repairs I questioned as to why my spark plugs needed to be replaced if we just had them replaced? And why did they need to replace the water pump when the check engine light indicator was telling them that it was an air intake problem??

If they would have focused on the repairs we needed done and not the repairs they wanted to do, I would have had the money to pay for the actual repairs, which would have been much cheaper, and could go to work and not have to deal with this anymore. And according to BMW mechanic in Concord, CA, you can buy a spray cleaner for the air mass meter instead of replacing it which I did saving me $$$$. Easy to do, too!

Don't get overcharged by these guys by taking your car to them. They charge $200 just to diagnose the issues. And they will find multiple unnecessary issues and make you promises that they won't keep.
