Technicians come; do their thing; invariably they claimed both filters need replacing every 6 months. My last unit prior to this Lennox , I could wash the filter mat and once in several years need Freon service. (Annual cost was pennies vs hundreds of $).
I I told the salesman that I needed a 10+ year warranty; the service personnel supposedly identify something or the other on every visit, but that is “not covered under the warranty”.. nobody provides any documented diagnosis; when they identify something they want to fix it right away but without disclosure of the$$$. Nobody from the office calls to discuss their staffs findings. I am not buying into the notion that $3 thousand worth of repairs are needed 7years into the new unit.
