overall good experienceno

Easy to work with. Communicated well returned calls and emails. Responded to questions. Showed up when he said he would.Original bid was $200 less than final cost because it was based on removal and replacement of post and beam. When the installer looked close he saw that the post and beam could not be replaced. Final cost was same as if post and beam had been replaced, and we were not sure why.
Overall was a positive experience with a professional contractor.

This was the original email I sent Tom. The project was to add 23 feet of screen wall to an existing screen room with a partially open cover at the end. He simply forgot what the up-charge was for. Also below is my response, then his reply. Since his existing screen room was 6 or more years old and of lesser quality screen Tom elected to re-screen the entire project to match. It would have been nice to remove the post but it had been concreted into the ground by an unknown previous installer. This being the case, esthetically it was better to allow the post and beam to remain as this is many times done with a retro fit screen in to an existing cover. The customer was consulted on this matter and fully agreed to let the post and beam remain.

Hello Tom,
I had to adjust for the complete re-screen and the additional downspout to be added.
We can re-secure the door that’s loose at no charge.
Also after viewing the pictures my installer said he will remove the beam and corner post and support the 3” insulated panels with the new wall structure for a cleaner look
that will tie in better with the original structure.
If you have any questions or to schedule please feel free to give me call.

Hi Tom & Claire,
Having read your review there appears to be a bit of confusion over removing the post and beam and the cost to do so.
At the bottom is the original communication sent on 9/4/15. As you can see I never charged to remove the post and beam. As no additional materials would be required to do so.
I did however, adjust for the complete re-screen (Material & Labor) and the additional downspout you requested. I hope this clears up any questions you might have concerning the applied project costs you mentioned in the survey.

Thank you again for choosing AASAP
It was a pleasure to have met and worked with you both.
Sincerely,
