In mid 2008, I had a bathroom flood and in late 2010, storm water ingress into my house in San Diego. On the first occasion I was lost and turned to the Yellow Pages. I telephoned some firm called Floodmasters listed there and, even though on a Sunday, Michael Fahouris and his crew arrived within the hour and took charge. He had all the expensive equipment necessary to remove water, carpet sodden drywall etc. to limit the damage. A few days later, after the room was dried out, he had several contractors lined up to set about restoration. They did excellent work, and, like Floodmasters, were cost-effective. That one 'phone call saved the day. Michael Fahouris is ethical, honest, utterly trustworthy, and communicates especially well. On the second occasion, I had no hesitation on getting him in to do another excellent job. It is no fun dealing with water damage but it is good to know who to turn to when it happens.
