Very Nice People, Some Lapse In Communication
Family Heating and Air was great, they were very nice and I thought that they responded fine initially. The person they sent was very personable and even came out on his own a second time to check out CO levels because he didn't have his meter the first time. I found family heating and air through a group called To Do List. I had a business card from them and called them when I needed service. They referred me to Family Heating and Air.
The only problem was that the thermostat that they put in had a little flaw on the screen that's kind of disturbing. I asked if they could replace it and they said "absolutely," but since then I haven't heard anything in terms of follow up. Someone from their office did call me after the work was done to ask me how things were. I told them that everything was fine but reiterated the issue about the thermostat. It's been about a month since they finished the work and it still hasn't been replaced. When I looked online at how much thermostats are I felt I was charged more than I would have been if I had gotten it myself, but I went with it because I needed it and I needed it then. I probably paid an extra $80, but I guess that's the price you pay for convenience.
