The initial contact sales and consult with Polar Shades was excellent, and very reassuring. The initial installation, however, was truly disastrous. It occurred when I wasn't home, and when I got back, the shade had fallen off and hit the floor. Being a motorized shade, that was a big deal. It also did not move the way I wanted them to. Some went up, some didn't. The windows they worked on also had clear hand prints on them, and they were dirty where they hadn't been before. They responded very quickly when I called to tell them, and did come out very quickly to make it right, but there was still one other problem with the shades going up and down.They again came out and handled it. So they did well in terms of responding to my concerns, but I really felt like they shouldn't have happened in the first place. It was expensive and they promise quality, and it didn't quite turn out that way. One thing they could improve on is realistic expectations for their clientele.
