The spring broke on our garage door. I called discount garage first and was quoted $320-360 to repair. I thought that was a little steep but after calling several other places it seemed pretty fair. Once the repairman arrived he immediately told my husband it would be AT LEAST $550 because both springs had to be replaced. Nothing was mentioned about this in my first quote. Other places I called did mention both springs might need to be replaced but were up front with me about pricing and several were cheaper quotes than the $550 I was charged. I would have totally gone with a different company but we had already been waiting 3 days to have it repaired and the guy was already here. We WILL NOT be using their services again though
