After accidentally calling another overhead door company and being charged a "service" call fee for the pleasure of being told I need a whole new opener I realized I'd called the wrong company. I called Discount Overhead Door of Tulsa and was promptly scheduled an appointment. I asked to be called 30 minutes before the Tech expected to arrive and for my door bell not be used so my wife would not be disturbed. Not only did I receive an automated call as requested the Tech also called to verify the address and privacy request. Upon arrival the Tech greeted me and introduced himself. He thoroughly inspected the operation of our door and opener to properly diagnose the trouble. He adjusted the springs, tightened all the hardware and lubricated all the moving parts. Then he re-inspected the operation of the door. It worked perfectly. No high pressure to replace the entire opener as the other company's Tech had said. He even advised me on periodic maintenance techniques so I can expect a longer lifespan of the door and opener. While performing all the adjustments he informed me of what he was doing and why. I'll never consider calling any other company again.
