better than most shops
They do better fit and finish with installing hardware by my install had a challenge not over come. First the battery terminal, its covered with a hinged cover, the 4 gauge wire does not allow it to close so a ziptie was wrapped around it which keeps it half closed, looks sloppy. Better install would have been to use a flat metal conductor to extend out the cover above the existing car wire to attach the cable to. Would still allow access to the terminal cover. I know they were trying to shield it under the cover but not enough thought on making it cleaner. Second thing bothered me was the gauge of speaker wire used. I bought a custom made box with alpine sub speaker which is rated 750watts max and 250watt continuos. The wire leads in the box were soldered to the push button terminals, solder cracks over time with vibration should be push on terminals. The wire gauge was 16 rated under 300 watts at 4ohms, sure just enough to handle rms power but not nearly enough for the speakers maximum. Should have been 14 gauge or better. Aside from that the rest was top notch install.
