I recently purchased a refurbished Pioneer AVH-1330NEX on eBay from Sound of Tri-State. The purchase went smoothly and I received the item on the promised delivery date. The only thing that caught me off guard was that what I actually ordered wasn’t what I received. I ended up receiving a Pioneer AVH-1440NEX instead. Brand new never opened. Needles to say I was kinda thrown for a loop when I first opened the shipping box and seeing a new model of what I just ordered instead. So I figure that Sound of Tri-State messed up so I Googled their phone number and reached out to them. I didn’t want to keep something which I didn’t pay for. So when I called I spoke to a very helpful guy, forgot his name sorry but regardless I went on to explain what I thought happened. He explained to me that the mode AVH-1330NEX was discontinued and they didn’t have anymore refurbished ones in stock so they sent me the brand new AVH-1440NEX instead. I would definitely do business with Sound of Tri-State again.
