I bought a car radio head unit from Best Buy with the intention of installing it myself. I thought I hooked everything up right but my car wouldn't start. After searching online for a solution and asking friends I gave up and brought it to Sound of Tristate.

I walked in with the wiring harness I had already connected and asked if they knew what could possibly be wrong. None of the employees offered any assistance, but instead told me how much they charge for installation. I understand that they have to make money, but the attitudes of the employees were horrible. One said in a snarky tone, "You buy a radio somewhere else and you come here for tech support". Completely unprofessional. I gave in and allowed them to install the radio for me. 15 minutes later they tell me it is done. I ask what the problem was and they wouldn't even tell me. I get home and look at the work they did and all they did was disconnect one wire, which I had mistakenly connected. However they charged me the full installation fee of $70. Completely dishonest. I had no problem paying them for their work, but they could have at least charged me less since they did not do a complete install. I DID A COMPLETE INSTALL. They just fixed one mistake and stole my money.

Will never even walk in the store again. I advise everyone to stay away.
