Support staff was fine Vet Brent Gust was terrible

My pet Shih Tzu (Missy) was paralyzed on Saturday after thev bet offices were closed in Terre Haute, the answering service referred me
this clinic. I called and they said bring Missy in. The office staff were polite and told me that the initial cost would be $95.00 plus any additional needs. The vet was Brent Gust who meet with us. He told us that Missy suffered from Old Dogs Disease and went thru the symptoms, I told him Missy did not have any of the symptoms except the eye rolling. He then (with out requesting or receiving permission) performed a thorax x-ray. He told me to take my still paralyzed Missy home and she would probably get better in 24 to 72 hours. If she did not get better I could put her down. It was obvious that she was in pain and still paralyzed. It is my opinion Mr Gust misdiagnosed my Missy and caused her to suffer unnecessarily and also charged me $230.00 form the x-ray. Stay away from Brent Gust he ran up my bill and because of him my beloved pet suffered unnecessarily. Again stay away. Before I wrote this I tried to contact Gust he was always busy so I gave the staff my number and he never called me. Again staff OK Gust should not be caring for any animal that you care about.
Be wary,
Tony
