I order two 7x7 roll up doors and was notified by email when they were ready. I scheduled an appointment with customer service for a Wednesday at 2pm. I wanted to pick up either Monday or Thursday, but per recommendation from customer service those days were full so I rearranged my schedule to make Wednesday work. I arrived to the pickup location at 1:15pm on Wednesday. There was no signage/instructions as to where to go or what to do so I pulled behind a couple semi trucks that were loading. A maintenance guy on a golf cart came by and I asked him if I was in the right line and he directed my to go past the trucks to another line at the back and there would be someone there to help me. After getting to the correct line, all the employees were walking up and down rows and rows of unorganized doors. They were searching for the customers doors that were in line in front of me. I watched this for the next 2.5 hours. When a door was finally located, another employee driving a fork lift would have to come move pallets and doors in order to get to the correct one. The forklift driver would the raise the door high enough to clear the cab of the trucks waiting in line and drive alongside them to get to the customer at the front. The pathway for trucks waiting in line and the forklift was so narrow that two trucks had a hard time getting around the other. I watched a forklift driver carrying a 10 ft door have it roll off the pallet and land on one of the trucks waiting, damaging the truck and door. An employee finally came to my truck and asked for my paperwork. He spent 55 minutes looking for my two 7x7 doors. Once we loaded the doors I waited another 20 minutes for the 4 rails. Then they couldn’t find the hardware to install it. So the had to remake it. Another 20 minutes and the bring me one box of hardware. I informed them there is two doors, so two hardware are needed. After 20 more minutes I finally received my other hardware and I got the heck out of there after they wasted my entire afternoon. Speaking with other customers that were in line, this has become typical for picking up. One customer was even there around 11 that morning and still waiting on his order. To say that there was no organization would be a drastic understatement of what I experienced when trying to get my doors that day.
