I just finished installing Janus 650i with Pantheon motor:
My overall experience was just so-so. I called rollupdoors direct and had a good experience with the woman who took my order. She was patient to my several questions and follow up phone calls. I am not a door installer, but am quite capable of projects such as these.

I unpackaged the shipping crate which arrived about 10 days after my custom order. It seemed to be packed well and did not notice any damage to the packaging. I began the install process which is pretty straight forward. Wear gloves when doing install as the metal on the rails is extremely sharp. Learned that the hard way. First thing I noticed was that from the left hang tab to the bottom of the left rail was 1/4 inch longer than the right. I doubt this is intentionally done as the prep instructions make sure everything is plumb and level. So I had to cut the bottom of the left rail a 1/4 inch to make them even. Not a huge deal, but still shouldn’t happen.

I continued with the install which went fairly smooth and the directions were simple to follow if you have basic mechanical/building skills. I bought a door with the motor, and the wiring and reading material/instruction for the controller and remotes could use improvement. I was able to get it all figured out and installed. When I stepped outside to admire my accomplishment, I was extremely disappointed to see a good sized dent and several scratches midway up the door. The dent and scratches are on a portion of the door that when it’s rolled, would be protected by outer layers, leading me to believe that it occurred at the factory during the building of the door. I haven’t made a claim with rollupdoorsdirect yet and unsure if I will as I don’t want the hassle of uninstalling and replacing. Hopefully they can correct this for future customers. Overall the product seems nice and quality, and I wish there were a way to inspect the item prior to completing your install. Guess it’s just a roll of the dice.
