The doors seem to work well but.
The doors seem to work well but it sounds like they left sand in the joints. The installation manual leaves a lot to be desired. I bought two doors, one with a remote motor and one manual. Both doors came the same so I had to modify one to fit the motor. The manual didn't tell the difference. When I called customer service he was willing to send me another door but I had it up before I discovered the problem. When I called customer service to get a longer wire to put the controller next to the walk-in door they told me it couldn't be done because the wire was fiber optics. I don't believe it is but I will have to put it behind the walk-in door. They said I could buy a switch to get the switch where I could open the door. They said I could buy the switch at Home Depot which is 50 miles away. I tried Lowes but they didn't have one. I also asked how to connect a light to it to light up the garage but they said it couldn't be done. I asked about the terminals marked "light". He said that was only for Australia. I think he was blowing smoke. There was a short piece of fiber optic wire about 4 feet long that the poor installation instructions didn't mention but he didn't know what it was for. I like the doors but the instructions and customer service could stand some serious improvements.
