a few issues
The directions weren't the clearest. (not normally an issue for me, the online video helped.)
The parts didn't match up correctly; for example the door stop has a hole to put a bolt through and a bend to wrap around the guide. But the hole was too close to the bend so you couldn't fit the bolt head there, and the hole in the guide didn't match up because again the bend was in the wrong place. The bottom plates had the same issues! Had to do some of my own fabrication. The locking mechanism isn't smooth either, will go to the store and get some fender washers which will help a lot.
Also the top of the guide where the door slides into it wasn't bent like it was on the pictures. So it would catch on the door as you slid it down. Had to try to do some grinding and bending with the door up and half-installed.
Lastly, my door has windlocks on it. So at the ends of the door there is a little T to keep it in the guide. As you roll the door up this T that sticks out can catch and push on other parts of the door. It causes the in-smooth operation common to roll up doors. It would be better if the door was slightly tapered, maybe 1/2" narrower at the bottom. Then as you roll it up only half the T would be touching anything. The guides have enough play for this work, wish they would do this.
All said, not exactly a 3 minute installation but the door does look great and works great and I expect it to last a very long time, and the price was excellent but shipping a little high.
