Installation of these doors was pretty interesting to say the least. The instructions provided are fairly vague on some points and nonexistent on others as well as good on a few. So basically all over the place. I don't know if on mine the packaging material that was supposed to retain the coil was missed or not but after removing the corrugated cardboard from the wrapping the doors wanted to uncoil. Took some effort to preload the spring while this happening. Very happy with the doors. But don't have power in the shop yet so can't comment on the openers yet.
