When I was in the market for a 2-channel stereo system I visited Hi-Fi Sales. They have a great selection of products and spent time with me auditioning equipment and working within my budget. I have returned to them several times to upgrade my system. They lent me a pre-amp to audition at home and help me select a turntable/cartridge/phono amp. They also helped me set up the cartridge - no easy task for a beginner. One of the wonderful things you get by buying high-end stereo equipment from an independent hi-fi store is service and support like I'm describing above. If your into high end analog audio, go to Hi-Fi Sales (and ask for Pat!). I would highly recommend them.
