We discovered BOYDSTUN CONSTRUCTION about a year ago when we moved from Las Vegas to Rossmoor Walnut Creek retirement community. Rossmoor has about 10,000 people in its retirement community, and they let you remodel or do construction to your home. They have a list of preferred vendors, and we went thru a couple of the vendors on the list until we got to Jon and David at BCI. Jon and David come highly recommended in the Rossmoor community, and they completely remodeled our place. They did a really, really good job. We have referred them to two other people who have used them, and they are very happy, also. The last one we referred them to was my daughter and son-in-law. One of them is a computer engineer and the other is a lawyer. They have to over-analyze everything and ask a million questions so after driving a couple of people crazy, we brought Jon in, and they all got along. Now, everybody is happy, and I'm "grandpa in charge of construction" around here!

BCI just put a sliding door in our place, and they are very amenable with the cost factor. If we need something adjusted or tweaked, they come right away and get it done. We have to go through both a Walnut Creek inspection and Rossmoor inspection, and the way BCI does their paperwork and inspection makes it really easy for the homeowner. All of these places were built in 1966, and there is constant remodeling happening around here. What's great about Jon and David is that they are in and out right when they say they will be. If they say they will be here Monday morning at 8 o'clock, then that's when they are there. If they do marble and tile work they have to let everything sit for a while, but if they say they will be in on Monday and out on Thursday, you can count on that to happen.

Jon and David and BOYDSTUN CONSTRUCTION are just excellent. I would have rated the value a five, but the problem with that is that Rossmoor tags on additional cost so while the service and quality are excellent, the value gets a ding, but not because of Jon or David or BCI but because of the additional charge assessed by Rossmoor. Also, Michelle, who works in the office, is always extremely patient, and she is a really nice lady. It has been an excellent overall experience, and I highly recommend Jon and David at BOYDSTUN CONSTRUCTION to anybody!
