I was a little disappointed because we have stairs and I wanted the nose caps to be flush with the flooring. I was told it would be, but when I saw the finished product and spoke with the installer, he showed me the directions for installation, and he did, in fact, install them properly. There is a bit of an overlap, but thankfully, it's not enough to cause tripping. It feels pretty flush, so overall, I'm very happy with my floor. It is beautiful. I also got the stair caps in a color darker than the floor, and it looks great. Just enough contrast to see the stairs for people.
