I had a criminal complaint against me and although the state had a good case against me, it was a bogus case. They threw a bunch of felony drug charges on me to try and get me to get other people in trouble. Once they put charges on you that are way beyond anything they originally accused you of, they know more than half the people will not want to go to trial and chance jail time so a plea deal to them is a win in their eyes. My charges went from three felony charges to one misdemeanor charge, which was still $@!#% because I was innocent, (that's what everyone says right, we'll I was) but it beats the alternative. Without a lawyer I probably would have lost the case so I'm more than thankful. Even though this was the first time I had to use a lawyer and I cannot compare them to other lawyers, these guys were great. I would prefer them to anyone.
