I purchased a Compaq Presario and although I hadn't used it very much, it went dead. I couldn't even get the computer to turn on. I tried switching out power cords and checked other connections. However, I suspected that the power supply had gone out. I called Microcity Computer and told them the symptoms and that I thought it might be the power supply. I took the computer to them and received immediate attention as soon as I walked in the door. They wrote up the order and gave me a ballpark figure regarding costs if the problem was the power supply. They told me they would call me in a couple of hours with a diagnosis and cost estimate. They called me and confirmed that in fact it was the power supply and the cost to repair would be $85. I authorized them to do the work. I was very pleased, especially when they called me back shortly after that and told me my computer was ready to be picked up. They were friendly, courteous, and efficient. In addition, the price of the repair was reasonable and they performed only the work that was necessary. I highly recommend them for computer repair as a highly reputable company.
