Bankruptcy Law Office of Robert Weed

You get what you pay for.

Mr. Weed's office (although I never met him personally) was a class act all the way. The only hiccups we had were that at a couple of scheduled appointments, we were not in the computer even though we watched them input the date/time in their system. Not sure what happened, but both times we ended up double booked with someone else. Not a big deal since they saw us anyway, but we ended up rushing through our signing appointment. We did receive confirmation calls for a couple of our appointments, but I would recommend, as with ANY appointment you have, to call the day before to assure that everything is in order.

During each appointment, whether we were seeing the paralegal or the attorney, we were given as much time as we needed to get questions answered, go over paperwork, etc. They are very gung ho on getting everyone what they deserve and are 100% on your side. They're also very passionate (especially about Navy Federal!).

The office has everything laid out for you on paper (as seen on the website). It's in very simple terms (which seem a little condescending, but whatever) and they don't b.s. They're very organized and everyone knows their job very well.

Perusing message boards and doing research I've found that many folks don't get the same respect from their attorneys. Many of them don't take the time to answer questions (even AFTER discharge!). And speaking of things happening after discharge, this attorney will help you to make sure everything is reporting correctly on all 3 bureaus after the bankruptcy. Not everyone does this, and although you can do it on your own, it's better to have an expert do it for you. They do not forget about you after the discharge.

At times they are a little hard to reach, but if you use this practice, you will have access to email addresses of several people so there are different ways of contacting them.
