Recommend more time for clients to review court docs before signing
My primary recommendation is that the court documents should be emailed/.pdf to clients prior to the day clients are scheduled to sign those documents. One hour is not enough time to review the court filing papers the first time, understand and sign them.
Recommend that: (1) draft court docs are emailed to clients 2 to 4 days prior to signing appointment (2) client is told to review docs, and email questions that need explanation. (3) hopefully a paralegal or lawyer can respond with answers, via email, to the client before the signing appointment. That way, at the signing appointment (which is only 1 hour long), the client will really know & understand his/her court docs.
Other than that, I thought you all were great.
