I had two participants in the 911 Driving School - Columbia, and I've already recommended it to other people. Overall, it was a good experience in terms of reinforcing parental lessons and perspective. It was also good for giving additional information and experiences that might not have been shared from parental guidance. The class for the two teenagers was helpful in terms of info, but kind of boring since it was nine to five. It might be helpful to have a more interactive, engaging format. They probably got really good information, but it was boring because of the length of time in a classroom setting. The driving part for both was really good. I got good feedback there in terms of the driving. One recommendation I have would be to either alternate the vehicles used or make sure the vehicle that they are taught on is the one used for the test. One of my participants drove the same vehicle for all the lessons, but drove a different vehicle for the test and was a little confused on where the wipers were, and other small details required by the test. Or maybe they could rotate vehicles, so they could get used to both, and it doesn't throw them off. The drivers test was really good. I got really good feedback about the vehicle they used. In fact, one of my kids has already requested a similar model car for himself. I also thought the email communication was done very well. Each kid had their own account, but I got copied on all the schedules. The staff communicated well. I recommend calling for the driving test to get the discount, don't do it online.
