Horrible experience
We ended up using Parmele in 2017 when I had OHS and AVR and aneurysm removed and I suffered 3 strokes. I tried for about 6 months with half days of working but eventually had to leave because my boss knew I couldn’t do my duties of office manager any longer. The First Lady that we met with to start the application was wonderful and knew her job well. After that it went downhill from there. The woman that was supposed to call us and who we were to call for information was horrible. She never returned phone calls, she would say that she called both my husband and I (two different numbers) and my husband would look up our call history in our phones and nothing!! We even went to our hearing and the deputy had to tell us our hearing had been canceled. No one called us and my husband had take off work for this. 3 days letter we got the letter in the mail that it had been canceled. This never gave us any help and when I did go to the hearing the judge said there was a red flag about some kind of date that the Dr had written. He asked me if I knew that happened and I had no idea what he was talking about. The lawyer never said anything. She had no idea of what was going on. After this I did find out the lady that was supposed to be helping me with our case had left Parmele. I’m sure they probably found out she wasn’t doing her job correctly. So after 3 years and being denied there finally was a person who told us we had to start over. This person told me I needed to ask my Dr to get me referred to a neurologist and a neuropsychology appointment. I did schedule both of these appointments and had three hour testing for my cognitive problems. I was diagnosed with mild cognitive disorder ,anxiety and depression. I cannot process information in my brain the right way. Like making this review all I had to speak into my phone, instead of writing it all down. This is a horrible thing that they did to me and took advantage of my disability when they were supposed to be the people who were helping me my husband has had to deal with all our finances without me being able to work and help pay bills four almost 4 years. We finally did you get disability but because they messed up on my case so much that I did not get any backpay for these past years. I hope these people never have a stroke victim in their family that has to go through something like this. It’s bad enough that I had to go through strokes and open heart surgery at the age of 47 and to not be able to use my mind the way I used to.I will never ever recommend Parmele Law firm to anyone that I know. I know they probably don’t care but if they had some kind of work ethic they would be pulling out my file and and finding out what they did wrong in my case. I am just so very disappointed in the justice system. I’ve worked since I was the age of 15 and was never a a person to take money from the system. The last lady that my husband talked to she told him that we do not get any backpay after almost 4 years of going through this. Parmele Law firm should understand what they did to me. That was almost 4 years of no money coming in to my household from me.
