I was referred to Dr. Bang a cardioligist because I was having problems with my heart racing and palpitations. The first visit he did not run any test he automatically wanted to implant a battery into my chest, but my insurance rejected it , Dr. Bangs office said that they would appeal it and it would eventually get approved. I called after 3 weeks and they said that they was still working on it and they would call me back with in the week to this very day I still have not heard from them about the battery. Around April 17th my heart started racing at the rate of 125 to 135 that went on for 3 days I called Dr. Bangs office and they said they would tell the nurse and she would call me back. The rate of my heart got up into the 150's and I still had not heard from Dr. Bang so I had my husband take me to the local ER which happened to be Mercy , well to make a long story short I ended up in the ICU after being transferred to Joplin Mercy. Joplin Mercy diagnosed me with A Fib and began the treatment for that and while in ICU Dr. Bangs office called and stated that there was no medicine that would help my heart and that i should just continue with current meds and it would eventually slow down. But i could if i wanted to take a half of the pill that he had prescribed for me. Well to let everyone know that if it wasn't for Joplin Mercy I would either not be here today , or an even more sick lady than I was . So please make sure to check the reviews on your doctors before you put your life in their hands, because your life may depend on it.
