Dave at Gonyea's Marine Service really is the boat doctor! I am very pleased with the work that he did on my older boat. There was always a problem with the acceleration, it seemed to hesitate. I had tried different things over the years, but I took it to Dave to have the carburetor cleaned out and other parts replaced and when I got the boat back it ran extremely well. I took it up to Madras and my wife agreed that there was no more hesitation and he solved the problem. He really is the boat doctor. His prices are reasonable too and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to a friend. The only drawback is the location of his shop and the accessibility to his building could be a lot better.
