bad service

took my car there to be repaired. did a lousy job on the suspension put the rear brace in backwards. put in one tie rod, changed the tranny fluid, to the tune of $4000. swould not recomend hi at all. took it back when it did not ride correct. Mike seemed nervous, after going to a good quality mech, I new why he was nervous talking to me. NEVER GO THERE.

I was rather surprised to see this review from Tim.
He brought his 740i in for service in 2010, but didn't leave a review until over three years later.
While Tim implies that we only performed three services for $4000 on his 740i, it actually received a great deal more work to the engine and suspension which he didn't mention.

The car was in the shop for two entire days and received a valve cover gasket set, intake manifold gaskets, along with spark plugs & crankcase ventilation system, We replaced a defective cooling system thermostat and performed an automatic transmission fluid & filter service. The work didn't however stop there. Tim authorized us to complete a great deal of work to the chassis & suspension which included BOTH tie rods and the steering center tie rod, plus front thrust arms and bushings, rear suspension ball joints, a right rear upper control arm and a RF sway bar link with 4 wheel alignment.

Tim did return a month later for a defective LEFT rear upper control arm that was not replaced during his initial visit. Out of good will, we performed this $575 repair at no charge. If Tim thought there was truly a problem with our work it's unfortunate that he didn't reach out to us & waited over three years to post his review. Schneller offers a 3 year 36K mile warranty on all the parts & labor supplied. Our warranty exceeds that of even the BMW dealer as we always make things right for our customers.
