I take pleasure in reporting the outstanding service we have received from Parley’s PPM since 2006. We rely on Parley’s to annually maintain and service our “in-floor” hotwater heating system, and “swamp cooler.” Our “swamp cooler” is mounted on our 12/12 pitch roof and inaccessible to me. Because of their impressive service and professionalism, we also contracted with Parley’s to install a water-softening system, and upgrade the piping of our “in-floor” boiler distribution system. This upgrade greatly improved the energy efficiency of our multi-zone heating system by preventing the garage heater from taking priority over the rest of the system during freezing weather. Most impressive is Parley’s effort to provide us with same-day service when we have had either a heating or plumbing emergency. On at least two occasions Parley’s technicians have come to resolve a problem after hours: 1) one was to thaw out a frozen water line as a result of an “arctic express;” and 2) the other was to resolve a minor glitch in placement of a critical temperature sensor in our boiler distribution plumbing upgrade. In both instances, the technicians stayed until after 8 and 10 PM, respectively, to make sure the problem was resolved. More recently, we experienced a lengthy power failure which interrupted our “in-floor” heating boiler function and dropped the house temperature to 60 degrees (didn’t realize the power outage caused a boiler fault until the next morning). Because the technicians who installed the upgrade were unavailable, the owner of Parley’s called me that morning to help guide me in re-booting the system by providing step-by-step instructions over the phone. Thanks to Parley’s, I now know which “buttons” to push to get the system back on line if we are again faced with a power failure.
