I have been a customer of PPM for several years.I am a subscriber of their annual program where the come every year to do an inspection of the two gas furnaces that we have in our home.
This time the service man explained and showed be a problem with one of them. The blue flame that indicates that everything is working properly was not having a constant blue to it. There was a lot orange color as well.
After talking to him about it I learned that was an indicator that there was a problem. The orange color indicated that the possibility of CO2 was being created and it was not safe to continue using it. Since the furnace was 22 years old it needed to be replaced.
He was able to get me a quote on the replacement cost and within 5 days I had a new furnace that will provide safe, comfortable heat for many years. There was no pressure to purchase from PPM, but since I had excellent service from them for many years, that was a no brainier.
Honesty, courtesy, pressure free. What a great company.
