I called at 1:30 to see if they had any availability for a blowout with curls and they said 2:30 was the only time, so I rushed to get ready and got there right at 2:30. I waited a few minutes before someone came to wash my hair. Then, since no one was ready for me, they had me go back to the waiting area with a soaking wet head. Next the girl who washed my hair came back to ask what time my appointment was at again, it now being 2:45 and I was still waiting. She found someone who was free and when I sat down, this second employee said she could do the blow out. I asked if the curls were being done as well, and she said she couldn’t do that so walked away to find another girl. I moved seats again to have a third employee try and do the blowout with curls. I say try because she could not even part my hair (asked me to do it myself although I just do down the middle), asked me many times to hold her stuff while she was adjusting hair, and would lay soaking wet hair on top of hair she just blew out. It was so bizarre and annoying to watch. (I really feel like it was her first time? It was clumsy and so, so slow.) Thankfully, my fourth stylist (who I was originally told on the phone would be my stylist but she was not available when I arrived) took over and did a great blow out. Only issue is somehow no one told her it was a blowout with curls. So I hesitantly asked about the curls when she was about to walk away, and she was like “is that what your appointment was for?” I told her yes. So she quickly (under 5 minutes) curled my entire head with a curling iron, gave me a quick spray, and that was that. It looked nice there, but it’s already falling flat and it’s been 15 minutes since I got home.

All in all, the staff was nice enough, but don’t book clients you don’t have time for. I paid for a style and now I’m at home re-curling because you were too busy to do it right. I was there for an hour and did not leave satisfied. Maybe the positive reviews are because it’s the only salon they have been to, but I will make the trek to my usual (Brittney’s beauty barn; lots of staff today asked about my color and that’s where I got it!) next time.
