The gentleman that did our carpets talked my husband into getting the scotch-guard added to the carpets because quote "you will have at least 60-seconds of repelling before the liquid soaks in". because we have dogs that have accidents my husband though that was a good idea. But....it's not true. We have had two instances where liquid has hit the carpet, & it soaked in instantly. there was zero repelling for any amount of time
