Moving is one of my least favorite experiences. Duh! Right? But this last move with Able Movers was a lot less painful; and in a whole lot of different ways. I wasn't sore the next for starters. Able did all of the heavy lifting, and lightweight lifting too. The guys put all of my things right where I wanted them. They spared me the pain of reporting to my wife that I had broke something, like I had to do in my last move! That should be at the top of the list! The guys were careful, and cautious at every step and turn and even with how they loaded and stacked our belongings. Some of our things were brand new. Not a scratch or even minor defect on them. They still are defect free. But our older less than perfect items got the same treatment! We didn't have a need to file a claim for damage. But knowing that their insurance wasn't subject to a $ per pound limitation if there was a claim was the reason we chose them in the first place. The truck and guys were right on time, professional, and courteous. That's what you expect from a professional mover. Our move was a complicated multi-stop move. It added some cost; but the overall value was top drawer. The cost was not pain-free; but certainly less painful than I predicted it would be. Sure, I didn't have the first hand ability to compare them to other local moving companies; this was my first paid local move. And you can also be sure that I won't likely EVER have the ability to compare them to a similar company. Because if I ever move locally again, Able Movers will move me!
