I would never, ever recommend this company! They robbed me!
I feel like I've been taken for an arm and a leg by Patriot Pros Plumbing, Drains, Heating, and Air. My furnace wasn't working so I called Patriot Pros, a local company. They came out on October first and determined what needed to be replaced. They had to order the part. I noticed that it was going to be shipped from back east and double-checked with them that it wouldn't cost any more for shipping. They assured me it would not. On October 4 they received the part. When they arrived on Friday they gave me the price and I almost fell over. My furnace was only five and a half years old and I had that same part replaced two years ago. At the time, I didn't know what else to do because we were getting some cold weather and I didn't want pipes freezing. I felt like I had to go with them. I even stopped by their office in Castle Rock to ask for a breakdown of the parts and labor. It was going to cost me three thousand dollars and the part was less than five hundred dollars. Coincidentally, my next-door neighbors' furnace went out last week. They called a big company out of Denver for the repair. It also took a week for the part to arrive but my neighbors have a fireplace that warms the house. When the repair guy was next door, I showed him a picture and he confirmed it was the same part, an inducer kit. The neighbors' repair cost them slightly over one thousand dollars. Mine cost three thousand. My original fear came true, Patriot Pros Plumbing, Drains, Heating, and Air robbed me. I thought I was doing a good thing by patronizing a local business rather than a big one but I was wrong. Now I know who's honest and I will never call Patriot Pros again.
