I wouldn't want anyone else to have the same bad experience I had!

In the end, I am satisfied with everything that Floorgem Services, INC did to my floor, but the workers were terrible. They only half cleaned up the place, leaving dust and stuff everywhere. One of them also left the upstairs toilet running after using it. I'm okay with him using the toilet, but the overnight leak caused my water bill to rise from its usual sixty dollars to over two hundred dollars. They were all nice guys on the first day. But the group on the second day wasn't as good. The manager brought one of them a chicken box lunch and carried it right into the house where it could have left a smelly mess instead of leaving it for him outside. Some of them also didn't speak English, or pretended not to. Specifically, one of the guys brought his saw into the house to cut some trim pieces after the floors had been nicely finished. I asked him why he didn't do all that cutting outside like the first group did the day before, and he acted like he didn't understand me. Fortunately, he didn't do any damage to the floors, they still look nice. I tried to stay out of the way in the basement, so I wasn't watching too carefully, but when I came up later, I noticed two floor-stained rags stuffed in my white planters out front that left permanent marks. Also, the manager wasn't going to include the steps, arguing that they were supposed to only do the living room and dining room. When I insisted that he was wrong, he checked the paperwork and saw that the contract included the steps. When they did the front few steps, they were supposed to replace the pads, but only sanded them down instead. The office gave me a one hundred fifty dollars discount after all was said and done. I could have had the work done much more cheaply, but I wanted quality workmanship. Tom made a good presentation to me, but the workers that he sent out weren't good. I wouldn't have any more work done by them. Now, I don't want anybody else working in my house, and I certainly wouldn't want anyone else to have the same bad experience I had.
