I work for a non-profit, and we needed our floors done, so I decided to use Floorgem Services, INC. The floor they installed is horrible. The two gentlemen who first came out to tear up the original floor ended up cutting through a water pipe. I had a plumber come out to take care of that unexpected issue while I also reached out to Ken, the owner of Floorgem, to inform him of the situation. He was not told by his workers what had happened. I also let him know that, because of the water that leaked into the basement, there was wall damage. He said I should have had the water shut off. I thought it was very unprofessional. Also, when they came back to try and repair the floor, they put down grey epoxy, which is different from the clear epoxy that was originally put down. I asked Ken if it was going to dry clear, and although he said it would, it did not. There are areas of grey on my floor. Not only that, but the floors are already flaking, and it's only been about six months. At the end of the day, the floor just looks bad, and that's not thinking about everything else that happened. I just wanted a waterproof, sturdy floor, since we get a lot of traffic from volunteers and people we are trying to feed. I would like them to get me a new floor, but I don't know if I could trust them to do the work! I am extremely disappointed; I paid for a professional flooring job and did not get one.
