Long ago....1980 I worked for an employer that didn't take out my taxes leaving me responsible. It turned out I did not file, and never filed until 2016 when I stumbled across CTC website and filled my head with so much information they provided for people like me. Gave Rick a call and discussed my situation. I have been paying my taxes for many years, just not filing, scared they would go back to when my problems starterd. But Rick suggested to only go back past 6 years. I had CTC to file those 1040's for me (2010-2016). It turned out I owed nothing and they owed me $5,500. Each year I was getting back about $1,800 a year for past 6 years. But only could receive a refund for past 3 years which equaled the amount they refunded me. For many years I had been getting money back, just scared to file because way back years ago the IRS was tough. At one point they hunted me down, where i lived, sending me threatening letters, so i moved giving no forwarding address. Stayed on the run 36 years. One time back about 2008 I went through a tax consultant out of Los Angeles. I agreed letting them take care of my problem for $2,000. Then shortly after they wanted another $1,000. I ended up blessing them out and did away with them, losing the $2,000 I had already given them. Didn't trust them all. But I tell you, you can trust CTC...Rick and Nat...thank you a million for helping me get square with them again. Lot of great information on CTC website. Believe it all. They know there stuff.
