BEWARE!! WARNING!!! We strongly advise you not go with this company. We had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Save yourself a lot of money and grief. We believe we were defrauded out of several thousands of dollars. $$$ The installation costs charged us were 2 and 1/2 times the community average. We were promised skillful, experienced installers; instead we got inexperienced young men, the most experienced of whom, had only put in one of our type of flooring. This resulted in a number of major problems. The first of which was a nail being put through one of our pipes, resulting in water damage. The second major problem was that our floor had to be torn up 2 times, due to improper installation. For the complete details, see our complaint on the BBB website. We found almost nothing to be true about promises concerning customer service and installation, as presented on the FCI website.
Our 5 day job took 16 days. Forget those previous glowing reviews. Those wonderful installers are no longer with him, and the owner does none of the installing himself. I read one recent review where the subcontracters weren't paid and the home owner had a lien put on his house by them. Not a company you'd continue to work for. Besides, his company has an extremely high turn over rate, and 3 of the 4 young workers/employees on our job are no longer with the company. If you hire this company, you most likely will get the same kind of talent we did. We doubt if you want to pay the ridiculously high installation costs we did, (which we calculated out to be $150/hr), for this type of service. And do not expect any oversight to the young men sent to do your floors, the owner spent less than one hour on site after work was started, and only because we HAD to ask him to come look at the water damage. DON'T LEARN THE HARD WAY AS WE DID!!! The job cost us a lot, in terms of money, time and emotional distress.
