Good overall, but not upclose

The idea behind this is good...and we truly love the design we picked. But even after installing exactly as the instructions said, it is still bubbling and pulling. From a distance, its un noticeable, but when our light is shining right on it or you walk up the stairs right by it you can see all the bubbles underneath. This is frustrating because my husband spent so long installing it exactly as the directions said so we would not have anything but a smooth surface.

Hello Sarah, We are sorry to hear that you & your husband experienced a issue with bubbles under the film. One of a couple of things could be happening. Either not enough water was used when installing the film, or to much soap was added to the water. Only 1-2 small drops of soap should be added, and you don't want to shake the water bottle and make suds as the soap can dry and make what appears to be small bubbles. The wetter the glass, the better! You can't use too much water when installing the film. The glass needs to be very wet and then you need to spray the top of the film with water before squeegeeing the air bubbles and excess water out. Also, sometimes the glass it's self can have small little div-its that aren't noticeable, but will create air pockets.
