Missing Items

The film arrived in a beat up box, and the packing material intended to protect the film inside the box was just a quarter of the size of the length of the film. Accordingly, the amount of packing material provided gave totally inadequate protection to the roll of film. No instructions or plastic applicator (to spread/smooth out the film) was included in the box. Despite ordering a custom cut size, I did not receive a customized product or service.

Hi Michael, sorry to hear about your experience with the delivery to Canada. You ordered a 48"x78" long stock product and used our coupon code for free trimming to have it cut down to 42.25"W x 66.25"H before it shipped. We still have the file that your order was made from on 6/23/23, confirming it was cut to that size, so we're unsure why your review says you didn't receive customized product? There is no such packaging material that can be nearly 43" long, but we still put some air tubes in the box to act as a buffer between the box and product in case it does get mishandled during the ride from Florida to Canada. We do our best to package the 200lb crush limit boxes as best as possible to assist in a well delivered product, but sometimes the conveyor belt systems are rough on packaging and once it's in the possession of the shipping carrier, we no longer have control over how it's handled. Regarding items missing, we don't provide actual squeegees with a rubber tip, but every order is sent out with 1-2 plastic card smoothing tools, one of which is printed on with our logo, phone number and "squeegee" on the front. Some see these card as advertisements, but they are indeed what is provided for you to smooth out the window film and get the excess water and air bubbles out from behind the vinyl. We are human, not some robotic supply chain, so there is a small chance these we forgotten, and we do apologize if that's the case here. Instead of a bad review, you could have just reached out to us by phone or email, we would have been happy to send out an instruction sheet and some credit card tools, but this is the first time we've heard from you about the order. Even if you feel that our product is only worth 2 stars, we hope you still decide to install the window film. While it arrived in a concerning state, the vinyl is very durable and resilient. Once it's removed from the backing liner and squeegeed down onto wet glass, you'll never know it arrived in a crushed box. Here's a link to the online instructions.
