Our house is very open and Asian influenced. The dining area window looks out on the neighbor's garage (another reviewer had same issue) and opposite is the living room with large windows facing landscaping. We put the opaque large bamboo in the dining area and the same pattern but frosted for see-through on the living room windows. This was 3 years ago and it's still beautiful.
