I had been struggling with a recurring mouse problem at my house for years. Every year I would contract with a local exterminator who baited my house and controlled the problem. This year, however, the house was baited three times and I was three still hearing the sound of mice in the attic at night.

I decided it was time to change my tactics and contracted Horizon for their Home Guard and Exclusion Services. Rather than just control the problem, I wanted to try to eliminate it.

Two separate contractors came to perform the services today. These contractors were both top notch professionals who did an outstanding job. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service I received. The Home Guard contractor removed all the old bait that had been thrown in randomly and replaced it with strategically placed bait stations and live traps. He bravely ventured into my crawl space to place new treatments and to remove a dead mouse. He did a thorough and complete job and scheduled a return visit in two weeks to check for activity.

The exclusion contractor did an amazing job on my home as well. This man was meticulous. I was concerned that the exclusion material would be visible, but much to my surprise it was not. He used excellent materials that will not rust and that the mice can't bore holes in, as they did with my steel wool. He cleaned and sanitized my crawl space - it actually smells nice! I can't compliment this gentleman enough!

I had received a lower estimate for the exclusion service from another (national) company but because their online reviews were terrible, I decided to go with Horizon. I am so glad I did!
