Cross River Animal Hospital

The amazing team at Cross River Animal Hospital saved my Juno life!

I was sitting in bed with Juno who was not feeling well. She had surgery on her Salvary gland. One of the ducts got backed up and Juno’s whole neck was swollen. The right side actually had a bump bigger then a golf ball sticking out. I immediately phone my Vet, Tuesday June 26th. He said he was going on vacation. The Dr. subscribe a pretty strong antibiotic and call him on Monday, July 1st.
Two days later, June 28 while sitting in bed with Juno ,the golf ball size bump exploded. I was freaking out, blooding was spraying out heavily everywhere! I told my husband get the car started, we are going to Cross River Animal Hospital. We recently moved back to this area, so it was the closest hospital and my Vet was on vacation.
Thank God we went there! Dr. Mayland and Dr. Rodriguez , and Vet assistants, along with the Techs and Office help, it was a team effort!!!!
Juno was in really bad shape. I almost put Juno down on June 29th.
They treated Juno with laser treatments on her neck to get the hole to close up . I hydrated her with a bag of water and I gave Juno a mild antibiotic. I feed her vegetable baby food through a syringe. I kept the wound clean and by the end of the weekend June 29th to July 1st, Juno was improving. It was a godsend! By July 1st, Juno was eating food, drinking plenty of water, she even had some pep in her step!
By July 5th, Juno was back to normal. The hole is closed and still heeling.
I truly believed, we made the right decision by going to Cross River Animal Hospital . The team there saved Juno’s life.
I am so grateful. I want Juno to come to these veterinarians going forward for her shots and yearly visits. I feel so lucky to have found this outstanding, caring team. They helped me through 10 days of $@!#%. Fingers crossed Juno will be coming back to seeing them for a few more years!
