My situation is a little unique in that my husband and I use to assist my best friend with her Miniature Pinscher. My friend is like family and we would often watch her dog when she was at work or traveling. We all were crushed when her dog started having heart problems later on in life.

Based on our experience, I can tell you that these people truly care about your pet and are realistic but also, optimistic. They are not afraid to try holistic approaches along with standard medicine etc. With their help, our friends dog definitely exceeded everyones expectations after being diagnosed with an enlarged heart. She was also very happy and comfortable during this time. Dr. Mayland gave us great medicines for her condition, changed her diet, added supplements etc. You could tell they really cared about the dogs overall well-being. They were always very gentle with her and constantly providing us with additional information and resources.
