A truly awful experience. I helped a friend move in June and while the experience started out great it ended as a nightmare. A $10,000 pristine table was severely damage during the move and after almost 6 months waiting for the damage claims to be completed AAA came back and said they determined the table was old and the damage was not due to the move. This is completely inaccurate and totally unprofessional. During the move my girlfriend and I watched horrified as the moving foreman repeatedly rammed the load ramp into her belongings in the semi. He was mad at his crew that they couldn't get the ramp in the truck and this was his method of venting. He berated his crew at every turn and became angry with us when we told him his crew took a 90 minute break instead of 30. Thankfully, one of the crew had the courage to come forward during the closing and confirm they took a 90 minute break and it made the foreman so livid he told the young man if wanted the job he should do it.

And the insurance she took out? Nope none of it was covered. They said the biggest damage and the piece that was the most important wasn't covered because it was old and already damaged. You can see the fresh split of the wood and if was preexisting the wrappers and movers would have detected it. There was also a nice desk also in pristine condition they didn't cover claiming it wasn't on the paper form they give to you when they arrive with 8 people that morning. If an exhaustive list needs to be created it should be given prior to their arrival at the pre-inspection not when 8 people come in and rapidly move you. So all of the insurance coverage provided for nothing. Well they also damaged doors, walls, a vanity, banisters, and they did pay for someone to come and repair those but those are nothing compared to to what occurred to the furniture.

This move was one of the most incredibly stressful, expensive, and difficult experiences I've had and it was only due to AAA Movers. Hopefully this saves someone else the same.
