I went for a consultation which was handled by a very fun & energetic employee. Several months later I scheduled surgery but had to postpone twice for more time to save the money I needed to pay for my procedure. I chose to have surgery the week of Christmas but 2 weeks before I called to reschedule and was told there were no other dates available for surgery. In a 3 day period I withdrew all my savings on Friday and met this employee after work with just 25 minutes till closing. I paid my money, was placed in a room and told to read some 20 to 25 pages of documents regarding my surgery, received an order from the nurse to get bloodwork Saturday morning. I never had any conversation with anyone at Star Plastic Surgery about what my recovery experience would be like or what I should have planned ahead for such as support bras or who to call if I had questions. I was contacted by this employee the afternoon before my surgery to report the implant size I requested was unavailable. I was distraught when my request to postpone surgery until implants could be located but instead of honoring my request this employee stated they had placed calls to several representatives and would call me with updates. I received 3 additional calls that afternoon from this employee. I was so overwhelmed with anxiety & fear I broke down crying & again stated I didn't feel up to having surgery. I received a final call that the implants were available & I should arrive the next morning at 6:00 AM for surgery. My breast looked amazing for 2 weeks and then began to drop & have continued to drop till my nipples are pointing up and my T incision have moved 1/4 of the way up the front of my breast. My incisions healed but the weight of my implants have stretch my incisions so far I'm in fear of them forcing their way through the scar tissue. I am a smoker & have not only shouted at by my surgeon but been blamed for my smoking being the reason for my results and told not to come back for 2 months. I feel disfigured & humiliated with the way my breast look and still have 3 weeks left to wait till I can see a doctor or get my surgical records to consult with another surgeon. I may be the exception but my experience with Star Plastic Surgery has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I went with the reputation of Star Plastic Surgery and made the mistake of not getting consultations with other plastic surgeon. I hope those who read this learn from my lesson & make better choices than I did.
