I put off having my surgery for 6 months after my consultation, because I wasn't sure that at my age (70) I wanted to go through a
hospital surgery and recovery. But everything went perfectly. My surgery was at a hospital I had prior dealings with, and was happy it was chosen. I had absolutly no need for pain pills after - I only had minor muscle spasms a couple of times a day for a week or so and that was it. I did have a drainage tube for a week which also was not painful (except figuratively) just inconvient.. I swim A LOT and am so happy with how I look in a suit now. I'm not sure if anybody else has noticed but I do, and after all I'm the one who counts. Thanks Dr. Reisen and all the others involved, especially Maureen.
