I didn't want to skimp on the quality, so I bought high-end appliances with ten-year warranties. So far, they're both working well with no breakdowns. I know I can count on Avenue Appliance to back up the warranties because they are a small operation, not a big-box store. I generally find that I get better service from smaller stores. I have a friend who just spent four thousand dollars at a big-box store for a refrigerator that lasted thirteen months and cannot be repaired. It has to be replaced.
