I have owned a Blue Star range for 6+ years, and called Avenue as it needed service. I LOVE my range and have never had a minute of trouble with it till recently. The door seized shut, and I could not get it open. I called Avenue, who put me in touch with Ray, their Blue Star service tech. He was very helpful on the phone, and instructed me to call the manufacturer and request a new door. I did and they offered one for FREE. This is an American company and they told me they would have to make one specifically for me, and it would be shipped in 4-6 weeks. It took under 4 weeks, was delivered to my door at no cost to me. Ray then told me I could probably replace it myself, which I did easily with a bit of coaching from a Youtube video by BlueStar.
It was easy, simple and I saved myself the cost of the visit and repair. I have a brand new door again, and I can not recommend Blue Star highly enough. If you're in the market for a really great home gas range, give Avenue a look. (they also told me when I called that if I couldn't solve my problem, to call them back and they would help).
I feel very confident that any issues with brands Avenue sells will be dealt with in similar fashion.
